Surshield safety winged blood collection sets readily conform to the body with help from soft, flexible interlocking wings. The needle is bonded to the wings at a slight angle to reduce the risk of vessel damage or occlusion of the lumen, and the coil-resistant tubing reduces recoil while in use.
